Fire stopping for pipes, cables, ducts and gaps
Rockfirepro Ltd is a fire stopping contractor based in Loughton, Essex. We seal the openings that services make through fire-rated walls and floors, and the gaps where those walls and floors meet. We quote for main contractors, housing associations and building owners, on new build and remedial work. We are a FIRAS certified installer for penetration sealing.
Pipe Penetrations
Metal and plastic pipes for mechanical and drainage services, through fire-rated walls and floors. The product and method follow the manufacturer's tested detail for that pipe material, size and wall or floor type.
Cable Penetrations
Single cables, bundles, trays, trunking and conduit, sealed to the manufacturer's tested detail for that cable arrangement and the wall or floor it passes through.
Duct Penetrations
Ductwork passing through compartment walls and floors, with the gap around the duct sealed to the manufacturer's tested detail.
Mixed Services
Openings where pipes and cables pass through together, closed with a system the manufacturer has tested for mixed services in that type of wall or floor.
Linear Gap Sealing
Gaps at wall-to-wall, wall-to-floor and wall-to-ceiling junctions, sealed with tested intumescent foam and sealant systems so the compartment line is kept continuous.
Remedial Fire Stopping
We work from your survey or defect list, put right missing and failed seals, and close each item against its original reference with before and after photographs. If an item turns out different once it is opened up, we flag it rather than quietly billing the difference.
What FIRAS certification means for you
Our FIRAS certificate, AP4414, covers the Penetration Sealing module - penetration seals and linear gap sealing - for work carried out from 23 September 2026. It is valid to 23 September 2031.
Assessed on Site
FIRAS is a third-party certification scheme for installers, operated by Warringtonfire. We were certified after an office audit and a site audit, so an independent body has assessed how we install penetration seals.
Tested Details, on the Record
We install to manufacturers' published tested details and note the detail reference on each seal's record. If a position on site falls outside every published detail, we tell you before we seal it. It then needs an assessment from the manufacturer or a fire engineer, or is quoted as an improvement with no fire rating claimed.

How we record every seal
Every seal we install is recorded on site in Assaya, the fire-stopping record app we built. Each record holds photographs before, during and after the seal goes in, its exact location pinned on the drawing, the product used and the tested detail reference.
Each record is hash-chained, so it cannot be quietly edited later. If a seal you are responsible for is ever inspected, the evidence is already on file: you can show exactly what went in and how.
Our records are built to support Building Safety Act golden-thread record-keeping. At handover you get a read-only register you can share with your client or an assessor. These are our own installation records, not FIRAS Certificates of Conformity, which are issued only on FIRAS-registered penetration sealing projects.
